Since 2012, I’ve been lucky enough to professionally explore a variety of aspects of the Animated film-making process. Upon leaving Image Institute of the Arts, I began working as a 3D Generalist (Modeling, Texturing & Rigging) before ultimately making the switch to CG animation in 2017 to Technicolor India.
In 2017, I started working as a Texturing Artist at Technicolor in an effort to continue developing myself artistically. The unexpected outcome of this shift was finding that my background as a generalist greatly benefited my work in texturing, and having spent significant time as both modeling and texturing has afforded me the ability to better understand the Pipeline process for developing assets not only for Animated series but also for Gaming.
Being a Rigging artist before has also helped me gain technical knowledge on software which helped me in times where I had limited amount of time to finish up my work and also in creating new workflow and technics eventually making it an extremely enjoyable and educational career.
In 2019, I started working as a BG Texturing Artist at DNEG - ReDefine where I got the chance to be a part for some really cool VFX show and an year later I was promoted to Texturing Lead at DNEG - ReDefine.
Ultimately, this is the industry I’ve spent my entire life since childhood dedicated to. I sincerely look forward to continuing to grow as an Artist within it, and to applying the experiences I’ve gained throughout the years to future projects.
